  1. Hi Glen

I read many of these blogs on a daily basis, especially quicksprout and conversionxl. There are a couple i had never heard of like Disruptive advertising and Duct tape marketing. I will have to check those out.
There are a few others I think you may enjoy search engine land, problogger and marketing week.

    1. Thanks for reading and providing new info, Minhaj! Search Engine Land, Problogger, and Marketing Week are good additions to the list!

  2. Lots of good info here and I respect your choice to help our Veterans both In the U.S and here In Canada. Some of the blogs I am familiar with but most I am not. This is a good resource for anyone thinking about starting a home based business. Cheers!

    1. Thanks, Mark. I appreciate you taking time to read and comment. Best of success to you.

  3. Thanks a lot for that list. I have never came across any of those blogs, but I will after I saw your list and few words about each of them.
I still need to learn a lot and I think this list would help.

can you tell me if there is a way to get legitimate traffic from these blogs.

    1. Thanks for reading and commenting, Mahmood! I never considered these blogs as a source of traffic to my websites. But the best way is if they allow comments, then comment on the posts. Subscribers are usually required to provide name and email address, and allowed to add their website. Most comments are moderated so your comments need to be applicable to the post. If your posts add value to the discuss, then you may see that other readers will check out your website. Hope this helps.

  4. I have bookmarked your post and I will visit those blogs. I liked your list and I think I will learn good things from this list.
I need to know more about social networking and SEO

    1. Thanks, Mahmood. I can say I have learned a great deal from reading these blogs. They are all experts in their respective fields.

  5. Hi Glen, this one from you is truly a winner! Something that needs bookmarking, so I can return to whenever I want. Thank you for making the list.

Some of the blogs in the list I am already frequenting, while others, are just familiar to me because I either heard about them, or happen to browse them in the past.

I have a question for you with regard to these:

How do you manage reading all of these? Do you read them all in a single day? Or, alternately every other day?

    1. Thanks, Gomer. I appreciate your kind words.

I can’t read 15 blogs a day! Fortunately, they are not all daily blogs. But what I do and recommend is set some time aside every day or every other day to read. 15 or 30 minutes or more, whatever you prefer. I subscribe with the same email address (gmail) and filter them into a file called ‘newsletters’ so I can scan them. I scan the newsletters and read what is interesting. Hope this helps.

  6. Thats a lot of marketing blogs! I have to say I’ve only heard of a few of them so I’ve got a lot of content to catch up on.

I also think it’s important to have resources like this that you refer to on regular basis. You can learn quite a lot and you know it’s valid because you’re learning from successful people.

One of my favourites is ‘smartpassiveincome’ Have you heard of this blog? I love listening to his podcasts and reading some of his articles. I think you’d like it too!

    1. D’oh! How could I forget Pat Flynn’s blog?! I even have it bookmarked! Smart Passive Income is a great blog for everyone and anyone interested in building a successful online business.

I recommend everyone set some time aside every day to read. 15 or 30 minutes. This is not enough time to read 15 blogs. But at least scan them and check out the things that interest you.
